Beachwood’s singles players—Karan Gill, Alex Machtay and Brett Dubin—all were undefeated on Day 1 of the Division II sectional tennis tournament at Brush and advanced to Friday’s quarterfinals. Freshman Charles Colson has had a big season for the Beachwood baseball team, but last week he was at his best when it mattered most. Colson pitched a complete game and added two hits in a 4-2 win over state-ranked Independence to keep the Bison in contention for a second straight conference title. Full Story
