Beachwood junior Sammy Gross was named by the National Jewish Sports Hall of Fame and Museum as the 2013 Sid Luckman Jewish Male Scholar Athlete of the Year. Gross attended the organization’s induction ceremony in New York to receive his award. Read more

Beachwood wrestling state champion Ryan Harris recently was honored by both the Ohio House of Representatives and Senate. Harris also qualified to represent the US in this summer’s Maccabiah Games in Israel. Read more

John Davis III and Jordan Richardson helped lead Beachwood’s boys’ basketball team to a school record 23 wins and the regional championship game. They also earned first team all-conference honors and three other Bison were recognized by the league. Read more

Beachwood’s Mikah Aldridge and Aneisha Hardin both were named first team all-Chagrin Valley Conference. Terrina Robinson was named to the second team and Monique Kaiser and Christina Oden were honorable mention selections. Read more

Beachwood graduate Josh Lowe was honored this month by the State Wrestling Media, which presented him with the 2013 Media Service Award during the OHSAA State Wrestling Tournament. Lowe, a volunteer assistant soccer coach at Beachwood, coordinates several wrestling tournaments at Beachwood and is a contributor to InterMat, a national wrestling publication. Read more
